What every unit is built from, faced with and edged in. Grades are held to the project specification; where none is given, the schedule below is our standard.
Wood finishes

Edge profiles & handle systems
Machined profiles
Flutes, reeding and shadow grooves cut into the board face, then sealed and sprayed.
Handle-less
Gola or J-pull aluminium profile set behind the shutter edge - nothing proud of the face.
Continuous rail
A single rail runs the length of the run, with an LED strip fitted inside where specified.
Profile sections and handle systems are confirmed on the approved shop drawing before cutting begins.

PVC — Type 1
Melamine-laminated carcass with a grooved PVC-laminated front, vacuum bonded at high temperature.
